There are several sources of funding to which students can help with the cost of attending at this meeting:
- The Society for Geology Applied to Mineral Deposits (SGA) offers 5 travel grants (each of €400) to SGA students to participate at the 4th European Mineralogical Conference. The award of the student grant requires the acceptance of an abstract for oral or poster presentation, and will be based on financial need and scientific quality of the submitted presentation. The application form should be sent to SGA V.P. for Student Affairs, Dr. Anna Vymazalova (anna.vymazalova@geology.cz) by April 10, 2024.
- Mineralogical Society Bursaries. Extra funds have been allocated here (deadline 1st May) so please do apply.

- Sociedad Española de Mineralogía (Spanish Society of Mineralogy; contact)
- Polskie Towarzystwo Mineralogiczne (Mineralogical Society of Poland; contact)
We hope to raise additional funds to help support our campaign of student support by means of a sponsorship drive. This will commence in early January 2024.
