Here are the joining instructions for the conference.
Online registration for EMC 2024 will continue to be open until Thursday 15th August. Remember that delegates can participate remotely.
Before you begin the registration process, to avoid our email messages being sent to your spam or junk mail folders, please add to your whitelist/safe senders list the email addresses: info@absmanager.com
The first step is to register your details. Go to emc.absmanager.com and click on “Register”. Complete the form. This process will save your personal details on our database of delegates and will allow you the opportunity to return more than once to update your profile. As soon as the registration form is complete, the system will send you an email message confirming your registration.
As soon as you receive the confirmation, go again to emc.absmanager.com and this time click on “Log in”. Now you will be able to pay your registration fee for the conference, upload an abstract and purchase other items (e.g. field trips, workshops etc.). Note that the registration fees include the cost of the ice breaker reception, daily catering (morning and afternoon tea/coffee etc., lunch, refreshments during the poster sessions), attendance at the conference banquet and a copy of the Programme and Abstracts Volume.
Accompanying persons should register and pay separately for attending at the ice-breaker and/or the banquet if they wish.
The system will send you a VAT receipt for each purchase. Please retain this for expenses purposes.
What does the registration fee include?
Delegate registration fees include the attendance at the ice-breaker reception, the conference itself, morning, lunchtime and afternoon refreshments, poster session refreshments and attendance at the conference banquet. There is no accompanying persons registration fee but accompanying persons are required to pay in order to attend the ice-breaker and the banquet.
The final date for early registration fees was 31st March 2024 now extended to 19th April 2024.
Each delegate is allowed to offer two abstracts (one for oral and one for poster). Any author can be the presenter, but the presenter must be indicated clearly in the abstract and no presenter is allowed more than one oral presentation.

Delegates from low- and middle-income countries (check the list below) are allowed to join the conference online, free of charge. In-person attendance by any delegate is charged at the appropriate rate.
